 Q: How do I qualify for wholesale pricing for Dive Flag Jewelry?

Q: What materials are used in the production of Dive Flag Jewelry?  

A: Each piece of Dive Flag Jewelry is made of Rhodium-plated brass, with chip inlay of simulated red coral and mother-of-pearl. Rhodium is a rare, silver to white metal that belongs to the Platinum group of metals. It is about 10 times more costly than gold, but because it is a "noble metal" and inert, it is scratch resistant. Rhodium will not tarnish and makes jewelry more durable. Chip inlay is far more durable and attractive than baked-on or painted-on enamel used by most other manufacturers. Use of simulated inlay in Dive Flag Jewelry protects our reefs! 

Q: What if I need a ring size that falls in between sizes you carry?  

A: You will probably want to order the next bigger ring size available. For example, if your finger is size 7, you will want to order a size 7.5 ring.  

Q: What ring sizes should I stock for retail at my location?

A: The most common ring size for women is 7. The most common ring size for men is 10. Here’s a typical size distribution for an order of 25 Dive Flag Rings:

Q: What if the ring I receive doesn't fit.

A: You are welcome to return it within 15 days for a replacement, but pre-authorization is required and shipping charges will apply. We strongly encourage you to insure your return against shipping loss or damage.  If you need to make your ring a little smaller, you can add a silicone ring size adjuster available from amazon or other retailers.

Q: How do I qualify for free shipping?  

A: Free shipping will automatically apply for U.S. orders more than $50 (after all discounts applied).  Free shipping will automatically apply for most international orders more than $600 (after all discounts applied).  

Q: What if I don’t qualify for free shipping? How much will shipping cost?

A: Normally, orders to U.S. addresses of $50 or less will be charged a flat rate for shipping of $4.99.  U.S. addresses include Puerto Rico and other U.S. territories with standard U.S. USPS shipping charges. Orders of $600 or less to most international addresses will be charged a flat rate for shipping of $35.00.  

Q: I don’t see my country as one that you currently ship to.  What do I do if I want to purchase your products?

A: We can ship to most countries via DHL Express.  Please contact us for more information.  

Q: Will I need to pay duty on items shipped to my international address?

A: Yes.  Orders to international addresses will be subject to import tax (duty) based on region rules and the invoiced amount, payable at the time of delivery.  

Q: What if I don’t know my ring size and want to place an order?

A: Your most reliable option is to visit a local jeweler and ask for their assistance. Otherwise, you can visit www.findmyringsize.com for an online ring sizing tool.  

Q: How will I measure my customers for ring size?

A: Easy. With your first wholesale order, we will provide you with free sizing rings and a ring sizing mandrill. You can find these items on our Products page.  

Q: How should I display Dive Flag Jewelry at my location?

Q: How long does it take to get my order?

A:  All orders will typically be shipped within 1-3 days of the order. Orders will typically take 1-5 days to arrive at your location in the U.S.  Orders will typically take up to 7 business days to arrive at your international location.  

Q: Why are only synthetic materials used for the chip inlay in Dive Flag Jewelry?

A: Genuine stones do not tolerate the electroplating process well. Plus, using synthetic coral and mother of pearl helps to protect our reefs.  

Q: Can you produce Dive Flag Jewelry in Sterling Silver or other metals?

A: We might be able to accommodate this request as a special order. Please feel free to contact us for more details.  

Q: What Is the difference between a solid sterling silver jewelry item and one that is Rhodium plated?

A: The Rhodium plating process for Dive Flag Jewelry uses electricity or chemicals to deposit and bond a thin layer of Rhodium onto each bronze or brass item. This gives our jewelry the look of silver, even though it is, at its core, another more affordable metal. You get the great look of silver, without the high price tag for something that is sterling silver, plus you get the additional benefit of Rhodium’s tarnish-free finish. While Rhodium’s ability to resist tarnishing is still present, over time the base metal will, unfortunately, break down with age. The effects of this process can slowly work through the thin Rhodium plating, causing the piece to change in appearance. To prolong the life of the piece and keep the Rhodium layer intact and shining for as long as possible, Dive Flag Jewelry uses a high-quality Rhodium-plating process, often with another layer of bright nickel metal under the Rhodium. Although Rhodium-plated items will eventually lose their shine, it is important to remember that this is a long process. This may take months or even years, depending on how often and how gently you use your Dive Flag Jewelry.  

Q: Will the ring turn my finger green?

A: About 2-3% of the population has high body acidity and will get the "green-finger effect" from wearing a ring like ours. The discoloration of the skin is a reaction to the copper alloy in the bronze or brass used to create the ring's casting. If you have the type of chemistry that makes your finger turn green, you can try clear nail polish as a quick fix. Apply the coating to the inside of your ring and let it dry. This creates a barrier between your skin and the metal so that the ring can’t turn your finger green. Just remember to reapply the coating often because it tends to wear off.  

Q: What if I need a ring size smaller or larger than the ones you offer?

A: If you need a ring smaller than size 4.5 or larger than size 14.5, let us know. We will keep track of requests for other sizes, and if demand is sufficient we may produce additional sizes. If you need to make your ring a little smaller, you can add a silicone ring size adjuster available from amazon or other retailers.

Q: What happens if my Dive Flag Jewelry delivery is not the quality I expected?

A: You can buy Dive Flag Jewelry with confidence. Every piece we offer is the best possible quality for the price — guaranteed. Prior to shipping, we inspect each item against defects in material or craftsmanship. We will repair or replace your item if any defects are found. Claims and or returns must be made within 15 days from the date of shipment. Prior authorization must be obtained before any goods may be returned. Goods returned are at your expense. We strongly encourage you to insure your return against shipping loss or damage.
